Work
Right Fit Pilates
In fall 2024 I built Right Fit Pilates a booking app in Bubble, a no-code tool. It cost little, launched quickly and ran the studio for nearly two years: bookings, memberships and day-to-day operations.
In August 2026 I launched the second edition, a custom platform on Next.js: marketing site, class booking, credit packs, memberships, Stripe payments, automated emails and admin tools for the owner. The studio paid for the lean build when it was young and for the custom build once it was established.

Tech stack planning
Advice on the tools that fit your stage: what to pay for now, what to put off and when custom code starts to pay for itself. Most young companies don’t need enterprise software or an agency retainer.
Websites and web apps
Design and development, from a marketing site to a full platform with booking, payments and member accounts. I build in no-code tools when they cover the need and in custom code when the business outgrows them.
Writing and editing
Editing is my original trade. I write site copy, emails and marketing materials, and I edit what you’ve already written.
Business strategy
I’m an MBA candidate at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Pricing, marketing and operations questions come up in every project, and I help work through them.
About
I’m Joe Antoshak. I’m a journalist by trade, and writing and editing remain part of my work. Over the past few years I’ve added web development, using AI tools to build faster and keep costs down. I work on my own, which keeps overhead low on both sides. If a credit line on another site brought you here, that site is my work.
